SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICIES

As a licensed Ontario wine agent, Cascata Fine Wines and Spirits Inc. ("Cascata FWS") facilitates all sales and delivery through the regulated channels of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO). This process ensures your fine wines are handled professionally and comply with all provincial laws.

1. Delivery Process and Compliance

1.1. All orders are processed and imported by the LCBO. Once released to our agency (Cascata FWS) for final distribution, we manage the delivery logistics.

1.2. Deliveries are typically conducted Monday through Friday. A Cascata FWS representative will contact you to confirm a delivery date shortly after your order is ready for dispatch. While most orders can be arranged within 2-7 business days of release from the LCBO system, this may vary.

1.3. Legal Requirements for Receipt:

•    The recipient must be at least nineteen (19) years of age (legal drinking age in Ontario).
•    The recipient must not be or appear to be intoxicated.
•    The driver is legally unable to leave beverage alcohol with anyone who does not meet these criteria.
•    It is your responsibility to be present at the scheduled delivery address to receive your order.

1.4. Orders cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box. Each individual order is restricted to a single, confirmed delivery location.

2. Delivery Zones and Fees

2.1. Greater Toronto Area (GTA):

•    We offer complimentary delivery service within the GTA on scheduled delivery days.
2.2. Outside the GTA:

•    For all locations outside of the GTA, orders will be handled by a qualified third-party courier service.
•    The delivery fee and cost for third-party courier service are the responsibility of the client. Delivery times for remote locations may be longer.

3. Pre-Arrival and Importation

3.1. Many of our fine and rare wines are sold on a "Pre-Arrival" or allocation basis and require international shipment. As such, estimated lead times for delivery may range from several weeks to several months, depending on the supplier's location and the LCBO's importation schedule.

3.2. Legal title to the alcoholic products transfers to you only upon successful delivery or pick-up at an LCBO-designated facility. The risk of loss and damage passes to you when you take physical possession of the product.

4. Damaged or Faulty Goods

If you receive a product that is damaged or suspect a quality issue, please contact us immediately.
Section 4.1 of our Terms & Conditions mandates that all issues be reported to us at santiago@cascatafws.com to initiate a return or resolution process in compliance with LCBO policies and our producer agreements.
